INSURANCE AUTO AUCTIONS, Chicago, IL (Oct 2018 – Present)

I played a key role in developing the front-end of the enterprise-level application www.iaai.com, utilizing modern technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. One of my major contributions was the creation of a scalable and reusable pattern library for IAA, which became the core UI development reference across the organization. This library included a comprehensive set of UI components designed for consistency and efficiency throughout the application.

In addition to front-end development, I was involved in modernizing legacy systems by converting outdated ASPX pages into CSHTML using the latest version of Bootstrap, significantly improving maintainability and design consistency. I led UX design initiatives using tools like Sketch, Photoshop, Figma, and prototyping tools to build wireframes, style guides, and interactive prototypes. I ensured a responsive user experience across multiple devices by leveraging Bootstrap and CSS media queries, and optimized the application for compatibility with modern mobile browsers, including Chrome and Safari on both iOS and Android platforms.

Labels in Office 365 can help you take the right actions on the right content. With labels, you can classify data across your organization for governance, and enforce retention rules based on that classification. With labels, you can Enable people in your organization to apply a label manually to content in Office 365 group.

I actively contributed to the UX process by presenting design strategies and solutions during UX review sessions with senior management, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. As part of a user-centered design approach, I conducted weekly usability testing on interactive prototypes to gather real user feedback and iterate quickly. My design work included creating UI sketches, user flows, wireframes, and rapid prototypes for both web and mobile platforms, enabling clear communication of ideas across teams.

I was responsible for designing the core user experience for CodeHub, an internal platform at Microsoft that serves as a centralized repository for discovering and sharing reusable code components and related documentation. The platform was built to promote code reuse over rewrites, significantly improving development efficiency across teams. CodeHub is actively used by over 50,000 employees, and my design work focused on making the experience intuitive, scalable, and highly functional to support collaboration at an enterprise level.

I led the end-to-end UI design for CodeHub, handling everything from creating interactive mockups in Axure to implementing cross-device compatible layouts using sprite images. I was responsible for designing intuitive page layouts and navigation structures, and I regularly presented design concepts to both clients and senior management for feedback and review. One of the key technical contributions I made was developing an innovative iframe-based solution to preserve browser back history, improving user navigation flow.
